Once again, we headed east to the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo Dubai for face-to-face meetings and insightful sessions on innovative topics. In those three days, we represented the SER group and showcased the best of our cutting-edge solution Doxis. On site at our booth, we had the opportunity to meet up with high-level delegates, CIOs and senior IT executives in renowned institutions and companies from the Middle East. The constructive exchange focused mainly on how the SER can help in the happening digital transformation, and how to take the digitalization strategy from paper into action by providing seamless information access, agile team collaboration and data analytics.
Expert’s insights
As in the last years, we took also the opportunity for one-on-one meetings with Gartner analysts on site, where we had a valuable exchange, among others regarding the strategic technology trend “Digital Twin” and its impact for both customers and vendors.
Moreover, we also met with existing and prospect partners and had fruitful meetings, where we discussed how to expand the scope and reach of our business in the region.
Great leap in digital transformation
Going paperless is the first step towards a great leap in digital transformation; Dubai for example intends to achieve this ambitious step by 2021. However, there are still numerous of challenges to be met: e.g., moving to a digital operating model, leveraging AI for digitizing business processes and achieving digital dexterity at work for better business outcomes. A lot of work to do! No wonder that Gartner predicts that MENA IT spending will reach $160 Billion in 2019 in all segments except for the devices segment.
